Well, I said I was going to bed like 10 minutes ago but I got distracted by uploading old icons I found on my computer (lmao idek).

Life's been weird lately. I feel like I'm just going through the motions and I've pretty much stopped doing work in school out of laziness and I suppose a mild case of spring/summer (every other day) fever. I'm hoping this weekend will ~spice things up~ a bit because sitting on a computer for an obscene amount of hours every day is getting pretty old.

Thank goodness, I have many good things coming up in the future to hopefully brighten up my life.

Sunday, May 16: Well, I won tickets to Love, Loss, and What I Wore again through Twitter because their Twitter is fucking awesome and I cannot WAIT to see a new cast! I absolutely adored my first cast, so we'll see how these ladies compare. (Plus, Doris fucking Roberts is in the cast this month. WAT?) Afterwards, we'll be having dinner somewhere... Not exactly sure where, but I'm hoping Junior's because I want cheesecake BADLY. Finally, to top off an already epic day, we're going to see Bobby Spencer's last in Next to Normal. My mom is a huge Bobby stan and bought tickets immediately when it was announced, much to my surprise. Should be a great show!

Saturday, May 22: Well, my mom has many dudes who have crushes on her and therefore try to impress her by basically ~bribing her child~. This guy decided to bribe me with expensive as hell orchestra seats to American Idiot. TAKE NOTES, OTHERS. THIS IS HOW YOU PLEASE ME, AND THEREFORE MY MOM. They may even let me lotto both shows that day so I can have even more of an epic experience. I AM EXCITE.

Saturday, May 29: Glee Live~ at Radio City Music Hall. To be quite honest, I am not too jazzed about going considering: a.) I'm not as into it as I was during the first 13, b.) the back 9 has really sucked so far, and c.) the video of the cast performing at the White House event made me want to vomit. I legitimately asked her to sell the tickets after I watched that video of Don't Stop Believin', however my mom has a huge crush on Mark Salling and therefore will not. Additionally, the fact that it will have  ~plot~ makes it sound like a glorified Sesame Street Live for teens and their mildly creepy mothers. idk, idk, maybe it'll surprise me, though. I should be grateful regardless. We may also lotto Idiot for the matinee that day, but seeing as it's Memorial Day Weekend, it seems bloody unlikely that we'd win.

Sunday, June 6: I'm a figure skater, but I took a year off and am just getting back into the swing of things. June 6th will be my first competition since my break, and to top it all off, it's at Sky Rink at Chelsea Piers in New York City, AKA my favorite rink ever. Seriously, I adore it. It doesn't hurt that my three programs will be: 1.) Wish I Were Here, 2.) Phantom of the Opera, and 3.) You Can't Stop the Beat. It's gonna be ridiculously fun. We're considering going into the city on Saturday and staying into Sunday, so that may also mean more Idiot lottoing. I'm hoping we can try to catch the Legally Blonde tour in Newark after I skate, too, because I miss that show like crazy.

WOW, HOLY TL;DR BATMAN. It felt really good to have a place to actually put all this stuff without unintentionally bragging to my friends. If it sounds like I'm bragging, well, I'm not trying to. I AM JUST REALLY EXCITED AND HAVE A LOT OF FEELINGS OK

However, I have a new layout here. Why, you ask, considering I never post? I don't know. I still obsessively check my friends page and was really sick of TV8 & ACB because while they are adorable, I made the layout really ugly. This one is much better imo, sans the random rainbow icons and whatnot, which I'll hopefully be fixing soon.

This post is really just to let LJ know that I'm still alive and yes, still obsessed with American Idiot as ever. (May 22, get at me.)

So anyways I'm going through yet another American Idiot the Musical kick. A picspam is coming from it. I must warn you, the caps suck because my DVD kind of sucks. I think it'll do, though. This is also my first picspam so I'm not really good at picking good caps and arranging them all snazzily. Additionally, I think this musical is amazing and can't help but include a thousand pictures, so this will be split into different sections. I also tend to ramble so prepare yourself. Well, this journal will stop being a graphics journal and will most likely become a personal journal pretty soon. My friend steph (its_stephanie24 ) and I will be creating our own graphics comm for that. :D

To start off my ~personal journal, I'll talk about my school's semi-formal, which was last night.

It was SUPER MEGA FOXY AWESOME HOT/fun.

My little ~hang out group (get used to me using ~ very often, because ontd got me hooked on them) included Steph (its_stephanie24 ), Sara, Kara, Amanda, Ashley, Tina, and John.

We were owning up that dance floor practically the entire night. Absolute spazzes, not even kidding.

They played 3 out of a possible 5 GaGa songs, so I'd say that it was a victory for all of us Godga fans. <3 Scream-singing Bad Romance, Lovegame, and Poker Face was soooo epic. Actually, we scream-sang many, many songs, including Hey Ya (much to Steph's amusement), DON'T STOP BELIEVIN', Baby Got Back, and to close out the night, Good Riddance (Time of Your Life).

I actually have to go to a NaNoWriMo write-in now, so I'll finish this entry later. :P
